Euro Trip v.1.0
1. Let Me Take You Down to My Marshmallow Fields.
2. Wild Flower Massacre
- Shot Taken by Dulce. "How nice" you'd probably think when you see a little girl picking up flowers. But NO! they all turn up "durog na durog"
3. Pigeon Child 1
- Dylan's Obsession
4. Pigeon Child 2
5. When New School Makes Love with Old School in the City of LOVE.
The design of these Parisian bikes has been my obsession from day 1. I always adored the vintage look of these public push bikes which is probably the best way to see the city, being able to freely move around without the shackles of taxi meters and Metro rail tracks and closing time. I finally did it on our last night before heading to Vilnius. I always wondered how to get access to it since it's all automated and looks can be so deceiving:
1. You use your credit card on an ATM looking device to create an account with "Velib"- the rental company
2. You have to make do with all the symbols if you don't know French (luckily i was helped out by a friendly French dude passing by at 1am, He looked straight but I wouldn't be surprised if he's gay- French people are not friendly by nature but thank God for this good samaritan as I was desperate to ride on our last night)
3. It dispenses an electronic card that you swipe on the bike docks
4. At Night headlights automatically turns on.
5. An alarm sets off if you are heading towards non-bike areas
6. Once returned charging stops on your card (1 Euro per hour)
7. Detects if there are any broken or missing parts.
An obsession fulfilled as I was able to tour in random alleys, parks and piers in the middle of the night.
